Adding Google Analytics to your site with Articulation is really just a matter of copy and pasting your code from Google. First you should set up analytics with Google, though. Google has a number of guides on setting up analytics, and one specifically on setting up analytics for a website.
Once you have completed setting that up, you’ll be able to copy the code needed to add it to your site. Per Google’s instructions, this should go after the <head> tag of your site.
To add code there, you’ll be editing your site settings. Go to Site on your account dashboard, then scroll down to the Header Code field. Paste your analytics code in that field and then click the Save button.
Tip: While editing your site settings, you can also enable the cookie notice for visitors so they are aware you are collecting information via cookies.
Finally, publish your site. It can sometimes take a bit for Google to start collecting data, but normally you’ll see this within a day or so at most.
