Testimonials are a great way of showcasing positive feedback from your customers. To get started, drag the Testimonials component to a page of your site. Next, click on the component. The title and subtext are both directly editable, so to change those simply click on them and edit the text.
Layout
In the options panel to the side of the editor, the first option controls which layout the component will use:
- Card - Each testimonial is displayed separately as a card with a colored background. This is the default layout.
- Small Image - With this option, each testimonial is on a smaller card with a transparent background and small author avatar image.
- Large Image - With this option, the card border is removed and the author avatar image is larger.
- Column - This option displays the testimonials as a list.
Testimonials
The component includes a couple blank testimonials by default. To add more, click on the Add button. To edit a testimonial, click on it in the list of testimonials within the options edit panel. Each testimonial has the following options:
- Name
- Title
- Testimonial
- Image
All of the above fields are optional, so you could easily include testimonials without attribution, or keep it simply and just include the author name.
Display
The options in this group allow you to hide or show the following elements of the component:
- Hide Heading - Hide the heading text of the component.
- Hide Subheading - Hide the subheading. With this option and the above you can simplify the component so it only shows the testimonials themselves.
- Hide Author Images - This option hides author images from all testimonials in the component.
Spacing
The margin option found in this group controls how much space there is within the component around all of your testimonials. You can set this separately for large and small screens by clicking on the desktop/mobile icon.
