When featuring blog posts on pages of your site, you may want to use the full layout option so content from posts themselves are displayed within the component. However, you may not want the entirety of every post displayed. The Blog Read More Break component can help with that.
When the component is present in a blog post, the Featured Posts component will only show content that comes before it. All content after the component is hidden, and the component itself becomes a “read more” link. This link will load the blog post page where the full post can be read. The Read More link itself is not shown on the full post page.
Note: The component is only used with the Full layout of the Featured Posts component, and the ‘Blog Index’ system page for some themes (Starter is one example). It is not used with other Featured Post layouts.
To use the component, simply edit a blog post and drag the component to the point in your post where you want to have the break.
