Store categories help organize your products and make it easier for your buyers to find what they want. To create and manage categories, go to Commerce > Categories in your dashboard.
Click on the **Create Category** button to start creating a category. There are a few different options available to you:
- Name - This is required.
- Category Visible - This option controls whether the category shows up in lists and the Featured Category component.
- Upload Category images
- Preview - See a preview of what the category page looks like.
- Edit Category Page Content - Load the category page in the website editor so you can add additional components and content to the category page.
Edit these options and then click the Save button to save your changes.
Next, click the Add Products button to add products to the category. You can also edit a product and add the product to the category there.
Finally, you can add other categories as subcategories to further refine your category structure. To do this, click the Add Categories button shown in the subcategories section. Note that you’ll need to create the category first in order to add it as a subcategory.
