You can view and manage all of the orders placed through your website in Commerce > Transactions. If you want to find a specific order, you can search by customer email using the field provided. You can also filter transactions by one of the following:
- All
- New Order
- In-Progress
- Ready-for-pickup
- Picked Up
- Awaiting Shipment
- Shipped
- Delivered
- Returned
- Digital Order
- Service Completed
To view and manage a specific order, click on the View button to the right of the order.
Update Order Statuses
For physical products, you can update the status of a transaction while viewing it. Both fulfillment types include a button to the right to mark the order as In-Progress; this status is for you as the website owner to know which orders you are processing and doesn’t notify your customer.
Pickup Orders
For pickup orders, you can mark it first as Ready for Pickup by clicking the Mark as Ready for Pickup button - this will send an email to the customer letting them know. This button will then update so you can mark the order as Picked up once your customer has picked up their order.
Shipped Orders
For shipping orders, you’ll see a Mark as Shipped button. Clicking this will mark the order as Shipped and prompt you to enter tracking information. You can choose from a number of different shipping providers with the dropdown menu. If the order ships in multiple parts, click the Add a Tracking Number button to add an additional tracking number. Click the Save button and it will update the status and email the tracking information to your customer.
Once shipped, the button will update so you can mark the order as Delivered. You can also use the Edit Tracking Information to add or edit tracking information for the order. Note that this will not email the customer again with updated tracking information, so to do that click the Re-send Tracking Email button.
Print a Receipt
To print a receipt/packing slip, click on the Print Receipt button. This will open a receipt for you to view and print in a new window.
Resend Order Confirmation Email
To resend an order confirmation email to a customer, click the Re-send Order Confirmation Email.
Issue a Refund
If you need to issue your customer a refund, click on the View on Stripe Dashboard button. This will take you to Stripe where you can log in and refund the charge.
