To launch the website editor, from the site dashboard click on the "Edit Site" button in the upper right corner.
To edit existing content, click on the component that you want to edit. This will highlight the component and display the component's toolbar.
Clicking the "Design" button will open the component design panel.
The design panel allows you to change a component's options. All changes are saved to your site's draft. You can publish your site to make the changes live.
There are three tabs in the design panel:
- Options: These are the standard options that can be set for the component.
- Hover: These options only take effect when a site visitor is actively hovering their mouse over the component. This allows changing colors or sizes when components are being interacted with to give the site a more lively feel.
- Structure: This tabs displays all the subcomponents nested within this component allowing you to more easily navigate to the nested components in order to access their toolbars and design panels.
Other toolbar actions include:
- Copy: This makes a copy of the selected component and places the copy at the top of the current container.
- Move Up: This moves the component up the page.
- Move Down: Moves the component down the page.
- Select Parent: Select the component's parent. This makes it easier to select layout components that share boundaries with their child components.
- Delete: Deletes the component from the page.
